Explanation of Services for group and individual sessions 

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)- is an empirically validated approach for working with mental health, chemical dependency, and complex co-morbidity. Designed to empower clients to establish mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, DBT assists clinicians in treating clients with emotional problems, suicidal, self-harm, and self-sabotaging urges and behaviors, and challenging interpersonal styles. (PESI, certification course). (15) weeks open group

Evidence based Trauma training and interventions – This program examines the traumatic stress, grief and loss of clients. It teaches them about biochemical, psychological and social perspectives in order to improve the recidivism outcome. It shows the client tools to deal with trauma in a safe environment and how to process the emotions around past and current trauma. This program helps the client with interventions to address traumatic stress, co-morbity, other diagnosis associated with trauma. This is an evidence-based curriculum (12) weeks open group

 
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - A way at looking at negative patterns and thoughts and challenging those unwanted thoughts and emotions and actions to find a different way to look at the world and self. It is used to treat mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse issues, to name a few. This is an evidence-based psychotherapy curriculum that has worksheets and assignments to help the clients look at internal responses to a external issue. (18) week open group. 

Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT) is a systematic treatment strategy that seeks to decrease recidivism among juvenile and adult criminal offenders by increasing moral reasoning. This program is evidence based and challenges clients in the criminal thinking that brought them to this place in their lives. It has worksheets and assignments the client can work on between class. 
The MRT workbook is structured around 16 objectively defined steps (units) focusing on seven basic treatment issues: confrontation of beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors; assessment of current relationships; reinforcement of positive behavior and habits; positive identity formation; enhancement of self-concept; decrease .

Smart Recovery- SMART Recovery stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training and is different from 12-step groups like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). It is a 4-point program designed to help people from all walks of life recover from abusive and addictive behaviors. These behaviors can include substance abuse, drug addiction, drug abuse, gambling addiction, sexual addiction, prescription drug abuse, alcohol abuse, cocaine addiction, and other problematic addictions to harmful substances or behaviors. This evidence program help clients with connections to other who are struggling with addictions. 

Conflict Resolution - Anger Management    Client will lean the context in which their struggles often develop is conflict – poorly-handled, unresolved conflict. Conflict is unavoidable, whether it’s in a marriage, family, work, or friendship context though it’s not always obvious that poor conflict management skills are at the heart of client’s problems. Their lack of conflict management skills can lead to struggles with depression, anxiety, and a host of other issues. These problems become even more significant if the client has a conflict with an emotional manipulator who has neither the ability nor desire to resolve problems. This is an evidence-based curriculum that will help the client learn to deal with conflict in an healthy way. (12) weeks open group
